Green Seed Field Day for Trial Managers

Greetings from the National Groundnuts Breeding Project, National Oil Crops Research Program, National Semi-Arid Resources Research Institute, Serere. The National Groundnuts Improvement Project at NaSARRI Serere has been working with Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institutes (ZARDIs) and Technology Verification Centres (TVCs) in adaptive research for groundnuts in different regions of Uganda. This has led to the release of the 12 commercial groundnuts varieties (Serenuts 5-14 series, NARONUT 1R and 2T), 4 per-releases and over 100 breeding lines.

The NaSARRI National Groundnuts Breeding Project has therefore organized a Field Day Event scheduled for Thursday 17 December, 2020 in NaSARRI, Serere District beginning at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Invited participants are urged to come along with face masks and sanitizers as COVID-19 SOPs shall be observed during the this important event
