2023 KAPEX Online Academy

Three of our key staff (Ronald Owiny, our Research Associate for Groundnut Breeding; Ivan Chapu, PhD student, and Paul Osia, an Agronomist) have been selected to participate in the 2023 KAPEX Online Academy joining a selected team of 20 participants from Uganda and a total of 80 participants from 04 participating countries (Uganda, Ghana, Tajikistan and Mongolia).

The 2023 KAPEX Online Academy is being facilitated by the Korean Rural Economic Institute (KREI) to provide online lectures and the provision of educational materials to respond to the mutual collaboration and joint research between Korea and partner countries.

The course shall cover a total of 17 Policy Lectures and 05 Field Lectures to deliver Korean Agricultural Policies and Field experiences during a month.

In the end, all participants are required to develop practical Action Plans for the implementation of the agriculture development policies and projects suitable for not only limited groundnut as a crop in Uganda.
